1 Pantogam: Great energy and increase in metabolism, decrease in anxiety, and increase in exercise capacity. I did not experience any negative side effects. One tablet lasts me all day. I can even take half of a scored for a smoother effect (and good to assess tolerance by starting with half). 2. Pantogam Active: Very anxyolitic. I can \'sense\' the GABAergic effect. They are both heavily potentiated with glycine as the site says. With Pantogam, glycine addition makes the energy even smoother and results in increased effectiveness and longevity of action. Pantogam Active and glycine can create an almost sedating-type of relaxation, yet not to the extreme. **Something tells me to be slow with Pantogam Active - I can feel the \"soft skin feel\" of GABA meds like barbiturates and benzodiazepine drugs, yet - again - without side effects of shallow breathing or CNS depressant overload. Highly recommend Pantogam for active days and workouts and PA for days built more for relaxation and recovery. Great products. The worst decision I have ever made. Those who went through this experience know how difficult it is to stop taking it because withdrawal is just unbearable. I completed and massive research on how to ease the withdrawal symptoms and one particular story seemed interesting and it was published on National Library website. I originally purchased this for my daughter who has anxiety. I don't have anxiety, but I also tried it to see how what effects it would have since it is for more than just anxiety. My daughter says that for her it gives her more focus, reduces brain-fog, and takes the edge off when dealing with stressful situations. She didn't have a response on the anti-anxiety effects since she already takes Etifoxine for that. For myself I found that it gives me a kind of motivational focus. When I take it, I find it's MUCH easier to get things accomplished throughout the day. Wakes me up, makes it easier to think and figure things out. Like I said, I don't have anxiety, but I do have stress. I found it helps with that also. When something stressful happens, instead of the stress response taking over, it seems to start up, then plateau at about 1/4 of normal. Which is a nice effect for me. I have been prescribed Dexedrine in the past (prescription amphetamine), and Pantogam seems to have a similar effect without the burnout that comes when the Dexedrine wears off. When the Pantogam wears off, I just feel calm and relaxed. I have found that if I take it too late in the afternoon though, it can make getting to sleep a bit hard for me. As with all things, everyone has different body chemistry. How a substance affects one person may not have the same affect on another. Best thing I can say is try it out. Works great for me!

I found this product to be key in managing PTSD and the anxiety, sleeplessness, anger and brain fog that comes with it. I feel more like myself when I take it and have a much easier time with life necessities and schoolwork. I also find a noticeable reduction in my chronic back pain. The only side effect I notice is that sometimes I get a little too hot, especially with exertion, when it's in my system. But it's barely noticeable and a miracle for me when nothing else really helped! I highly recommend this. My partner with narcolepsy feels benefits too - easier time with anxiety, managing emotions and cognitive function in general, as well as significant relief from some of the satellite symptoms he experiences. He also tends to get better nights of sleep and better results out of the baclofen and stimulants he needs to take to function. Can't live without it now!
